8.2 Refrigerated/Perishable Items

  • These items cannot be left unattended on doorsteps

  • Customer must provide a secure, shaded location for delivery
  • DHL will not deliver to unsecured locations without signature
  • Delivery window: Typically morning hours to minimize time outside cooler

12.2 Dolce Piatti IS Liable For:

  • Failure to ship orders within agreed processing timeframe (1-3 business days)
  • Shipping to incorrect addresses due to Dolce Piatti error
  • Providing false product information that affects shipping/handling
  • Failure to process refunds for returned items within 14 days
  • Incorrect shipping cost calculation at checkout

12.3 DHL Liability

  • DHL is responsible for shipments once accepted
  • DHL liability limited per their terms (typically €20 standard, higher with insurance)
  • DHL handles damage, loss, and delayed delivery claims
  • Dolce Piatti does not assume liability for DHL failures
